MANY PEOPLE WONDER HOW TO REPORT PHISHING MAILS IN INDIA TO RESERVE BANK OF INDIA REPRESENTING INDIAN BANKS CLAIMING TO GIVE AWAY GIFTS AND PRIZES AND ASKING FOR YOUR PERSONAL BANKING DETAILS.

Steps to find email headers in Outlook

Right click on selected message à click on message options

Copy all contents from the red marked box & forward the copied contents to Mail Support.

 Steps to find email headers in Gmail

Log in to Gmail.

Open the message you'd like to view headers for.

Click the down arrow next to Reply, at the top-right of the message pane.

Select Show original.

The full headers will appear in a new window.

Steps to find email headers in Rediff

Log in to Rediffmail.

Open the message you'd like to view headers for.

Click on the show full headers link.

The full headers will appear in a new window.

Steps to find email headers in Yahoo

If you want to see a full header using All-New Yahoo! Mail, please do this:

1. Open All-New Yahoo! Mail and open any email you'd like to see the full header on.
2. Click on the Actions button above the email.

3. Click on the Full Header link from the pull-down menu.

4. The full header will open in a new window. You'll need to scroll down to see all the technical information this window contains.

5. Please copy this header and send to us.

  

If you want to see a full header using Classic Yahoo! Mail, please do this:

6. Open Classic Yahoo! Mail and open any email you'd like to see the full header on.
7. Below the email on the far left side, click the link that says Full Headers.

To return to the standard header click the Compact Headers link.

How to view message headers in OWA 2007

Open a message in OWA by double-clicking on it or hitting Enter, then click on the "Message Details" icon.

The message details will come up in a dialog box:

Steps to find email headers in Hotmail

1.       Login to Hotmail.

2.       Open the message you'd like to view headers for.

3.       Click on Drop down Button near Reply Link

4.       Click on View message Source

5.       A separate window or tab will open in browser. This window contains actual e-mail headers

6.       Copy the contents from new window and forward to us for further analysis.
